Style - Liechtenauer longsword / Swedish military sabre
Andreas has been a member of GHFS since spring 2005. Before discovering the world of Historical European Martial Arts, he has trained Judo (7 years) and Bujinkan Ninpo Taijutsu (about 4 years). He is now one of the instructors for the beginner's class in Liechtenauer Longsword at GHFS, and the head instructor for Swedish 19th century Military Sabre.
He has held international classes at Swordfish 2009 and at FightCamp 2009 and 2010, in Swedish Military Sabre and Ringen am Schwert (wrestling techniques in longsword fighting).
Andreas also transcribes and translates manuals, having produced a transcription and translation to Swedish of the fechtbuch of Sigmund Ringeck, which is the main instruction manual for the longsword class at GHFS. He has also transcribed the fechtbuch of Hans Medel, from 1539, which is contained in the codex I.6.2.5.
He is also a member of HEMAC, the Historical European Martial Arts Coalition.
